Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Lyriclab website and services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Services

Lyriclab provides an AI-powered songwriting platform that helps you create tailored lyrics, turn lyrics into songs with male or female voices, refine existing lyrics, convert lyrics for Band-in-a-Box, and save, copy, download and share your work. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.

2. Plans and Payments

Lyriclab offers paid plans as described on our pricing page:

  • Monthly plan: billed month to month. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
  • Once-Off plan: a single one-time payment. Pay once and keep access to what is included in the plan, with no recurring charges.
  • Plans include AI song generation credits as described at purchase. Additional credits can be topped up inside the app where available.
  • Payments are processed by Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. We do not store or process your payment card data.

3. User Content and Ownership

You keep the rights to the lyrics and songs you create with Lyriclab, which are generated to be unique and yours to keep. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and create. By using the Services, you grant Lyriclab a worldwide license to host, display, and process your content as needed to operate and provide the Services.

4. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of our Services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Lyriclab or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect information related to your use of the Services, such as your name, email address, and IP address, as described in the Privacy Policy below. We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit any content containing illegal or unauthorized material.
  • Post content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems or networks.
  • Upload or transmit harmful code, including viruses or malware.
  • Engage in any activity that violates the privacy of others.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Access or use the Services if you are under the age of 13.

7. Termination

We may terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, for any reason, at any time, without notice. We may also remove any user-submitted content at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided as is and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by amicable settlement. If the parties are unable to reach an amicable settlement, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Dominican Republic.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lyriclab relating to your use of the Services.
